FoSCoS Portal Guide: Login, Form A/B, and Common Errors

FoSCoS (Food Safety Compliance System) is the main portal for FSSAI registration, licences, renewals, and modifications.

Before you start. Decide Basic vs State vs Central correctly. Keep scanned KYC, premises proof, and product list ready in accepted file sizes.

Typical flow.
1. Create or log in to your FoSCoS account.
2. Choose Form A (Basic) or Form B (State/Central) as applicable.
3. Enter business details exactly as on ID and rent papers.
4. Upload documents and pay the government fee.
5. Track status and reply to authority queries quickly.

Common errors. Name/address mismatch, wrong food category codes, blurry uploads, expired documents, and selecting the wrong licence tier.
