FSSAI Licence Fees and Cost in India (2026)

FSSAI cost has two parts: government fee (paid on FoSCoS) and professional fee (if you use a consultant).

Government fee. Varies by category and validity period you choose (often 1–5 years). Basic Registration is the lowest tier; State and Central fees are higher and depend on licence kind and capacity. Always confirm the live fee on FoSCoS for your form, schedules change.

What drives total cost. Wrong category selection, incomplete documents (rework), inspection readiness for State/Central, and rush timelines.
